With all of its sides closed down, this looks like a traditional tipi, but it's the size of it and the ability for any of its nine sides to be lifted that makes it so beautiful and flexible.
In summer, one tipi with all of its sides raised could give shade to a garden party for 80 and in winter, the same tent with all of its sides closed down could host a cosy fire-lit dinner party for 40. These are extreme examples though, and most of the time a tipi would only have a couple of its sides lifted for a wide entrance to a cosy space.
Extend and adapt the tipi further using our range of Tipi Accessories.
Capacity: approximately 80 seated or 90 standing
Dimensions: 10.30m x 10.30m (sides down) | 13m x 13m (sides up)
We allow half a day to build one tipi.
We typically set-up a day or two before your event and take down a day or so after, but we are flexible and will try our best to fit in around you and your venue.
We don’t, but we are on-call during your event should you have an emergency.
We do provide you with a thorough handover once we have finished building so that you know how everything works. We also follow the weather extremely closely in the run-up to an event and would never leave site without being confident it was safe.
Yes, our tipis and all the equipment we hire must be insured during the period of hire.
You can either take out your own wedding/event insurance for this, with ‘marquee + equipment’ cover, otherwise we will add a 5% Damage Waiver as standard. See our Planning Checklist for more details.
We use the highest quality event tipis, designed and manufactured in Arctic Sweden by industry pioneers Tentipi. They produce the original and best event tipis and we wouldn’t trust anything else.
