James and Charlie’s wedding took place on Charlie’s family farm in Suffolk in July 2023. We don’t typically travel this far, but we made an exception because Charlie is a close friend of ours.
The original plan was to have three tipis in a row, with half the space set for dining 120 guests, the other half for a dance floor/bar and their ceremony was meant to take place outside. However, with the forecast looking SO bad, we arranged chairs on the dance floor, and the ceremony was to take place under cover.
It rained non-stop all day, but this wedding is a great example of how, with proper planning, you can still have an incredible day, no matter the weather. The atmosphere inside the tipis was amazing, and the party carried on late into the night, proving that rain couldn’t dampen the fun!
